PENYULUHAN TEKNIK BATUK EFEKTIF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KESADARAN DAN KESEHATAN PERNAPASAN

Abstract

Effective coughing is a simple yet important technique to help clear the respiratory tract of mucus or irritation. Education related to this technique is still minimal among students, especially in urban areas that are prone to air pollution. This community service activity aims to provide a deeper understanding of effective coughing techniques to students of SMA Muhammadiyah 19 Jakarta. The approach includes counseling, simulations, and interactive discussions. The evaluation results showed an increase in student knowledge and skills, with an average increase in pre-test and post-test scores of 30%. This program has the potential to be widely implemented in an effort to improve respiratory health among students.
