EDUKASI KESELAMATAN PASIEN DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN

Abstract

This community service activity by STIKES Graha Edukasi Makassar was carried out at Ibnu Sina Hospital YW-UMI Makassar with the aim of improving the knowledge and competence of nurses in an effort to improve the quality of nursing care. This activity was attended by 35 nurses from various hospital service units. The methods used included counseling, simulation-based training, and group discussions to improve participants' understanding of nursing care quality standards. Pre-test and post-test evaluations showed a significant increase in the average score of participants, from 60% to 85%, reflecting the success of this activity in strengthening nurses' understanding and skills. In addition, this activity also provided a space for nurses to share experiences and solutions related to daily nursing practice challenges. The results of this activity emphasize the importance of ongoing training in supporting professionalism and the quality of health services.
